Day camp was a lot of fun for everyone. Each day the scouts participated in archery lessons, arts and crafts sessions, sent time on the BB gun range, and even took time out for games as part of the festivities. Specials were planned each day for the campers. The specials included presentations by Desoto County Search and Rescue teams, Southaven Swat team members, and members of the Desoto County Sheriff's Department.
Scouts learn archery skills to help them earn their belt loop...
Practice their BB Gun skills...
YEAH!!! Watergames...
I sure hope no one
catches us playing in the "kiddie" pool.
MMM! LUNCH!!!
Here's some scouts marching to another activity.

Each day's specials were a treat for the scouts. They got to meet and interact with members of some of the agencies that help to keep our home safe and secure.
Scouts try out some of the equipment used by the Sheriff's Search and Rescue team.
Members of Southaven Police Department's SWAT Team display the tools of their trade and answer questions for the scouts.
Scouts participate in the flag ceremony at the end of the day.
One of the the biggest reason scouts come to day camp is to
see old friends and make new ones.
